Music plays a significant role in nearly every event—weddings, birthday parties, and even funerals. Almost every celebration includes music! I chose to talk about my cousin’s wedding because we are very close, and her bubbly personality really shined through in every part of the celebration. The song 'The wobble' starting playing, bringing everyone together on the dance floor—even the little kids joined in, laughing and clapping along. The upbeat music created an atmosphere of pure joy, with friends and family dancing freely, making sure that everyone had a great time. As people moved to the rhythm, the energy was contagious, filling the room with smiles and laughter. The dance floor became filled with people and with that the shoe's were kicked off, hands waving, and everyone was so in the moment that no one cared about being judged or how tired they were. By the end of the song, everyone’s spirits were lifted, and it felt like the perfect celebration of love, laughter, and happiness—memories that would stay with each of us long after this event was done and in the past. As the final notes played, you could see everyone catching their breath, sharing smiles. It was a lovely reminder of how music unites us, marking unforgettable moments that words could never be able to express!

Another song that made the wedding memorable was the 'Chicken Dance.' This song isn’t usually played at weddings, but it added a fun twist to the mix of traditional music. It was a delightful surprise that caught most guests off guard, because it was played right after the father daughter dance. As the song went on, more and more people joined in, laughing and dancing together. Even the older guests got up to join the fun, creating a blend of generations. The energy of the dance brought everyone closer, breaking any remaining social barriers. It became a highlight for me because i never would have guessed anyone would put this in their wedding, plus it was just very fun and exciting! It created moments everyone would remember. The sight of family and friends flapping their arms and moving in sync filled the room with laughter and cheers, turning a lighthearted moment into a cherished memory that perfectly captured the spirit of celebration. By the end, people were breathless with laughter, and even those hesitant at first couldn’t resist joining in. The 'Chicken Dance' brought very playful energy that turned the dance floor into a place of pure joy and unforgettable moments.

• Side note I loved seeing some of the old couples rush to the dance floor to do the chicken dance. Just because they did not have a care in the world and just wanted to have some fun!

At weddings, there’s a special tradition where the father and daughter share a dance, choosing a song that has deep meaning for them both. My cousin selected 'My Little Girl' by Tim McGraw, and it brought a very emotional atmosphere to the room, bringing the mood down a little as everyone watched. Seeing them gracefully twirl around the dance floor. When everyone was watching them the room was quiet but you could see how proud her father was.Watching them gracefully twirl across the dance floor brought me to tears, and I could feel how precious this moment was for both of them and for everyone who witnessed it.
